tomatoes, peppers and sage oh my!

yesterday, sara and i took a trip to mahoney's to pick up some veg plants for our mini garden and some unique indoor plants for my recently acquired chemistry vessels (which were destined to be thrown out but i spotted and snatched them up just in time!)

liking it hot

putting his skills to the test, erich cultivated a hot sauce with mainly jalapenos and vinegar. he got the recipe from "jam it, pickle it, cure it" (same place i found the marshmallow recipe!) although i'm not a fan of the hot stuff, erich is pleased with the new condiment that is freshly and abundantly stocked in our fridge. taco night, perhaps? i'll make the margs ;)

campfire treats!

gearing up for summer and some tentative camping trips, i wanted to test out making some homemade marshmallows. now that i know not only how simple and easy they are to make but how delicious as well, i think these will become a summer staple.

we'll meet again

last night john, erich, and i saw the local natives at great scott in allston- unreal. to the natives, we'll meet again at the middle east. see you in august!

the inner light
